Commissioner Shao Mingli meets Commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration

On August 11, 2010, Shao Mingli, Commissioner of the State Food and Drug Administration, met with the visiting Dr. Margaret Hamburg, Commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and her entourage. Both sides reviewed the progress of the cooperation since the signing of the Agreement on the Safety of Drugs and Medical Devices in 2007, and made in-depth discussions on the further enhancement of cooperation in drug and medical device safety supervision and better ensuring drug safety for the public of both countries.
