Throughput in Caofeidian Breaks 4M Tons in August

According to statistics, 530 trains with 4.32 million tons of coal were unloaded, 167 vessels got loaded, and the total throughput hit 4.06 million tons in Caofeidian Port in August.

The unloading and loading volume in Caofeidian Port was enhanced a lot when compared with that in July. The transfer-in of coal increased from 4.04 million tons in July to 4.32 million tons in August while the loading amount was up to 4.06 million tons from 3.74 million tons.

Because of the increase of railway transfer-in, the depot storage in Caofeidian Port remained at a high level, with a daily storage of 2.1 million tons. Besides this, the daily loading and unloading capacity have surpassed the designed amount. The largest unloading amount in a single day in this month was 20 trains and the largest loading amount was 203,000 tons.

In terms of vessels in the anchorage, its number also kept increasing in this month, from 18 at the beginning of August to 34 at the end, especially 37 berthing on August 31.
