Jiangxi Exports of Tungsten Products Grow Sharply in Jan.- Apr.  

From January to April 2010, the export quantity of tungsten products from Jiangxi Province of China reached 1,828 tons, up 44% year-on-year, and the export value totaled USD 43.93 million, up 44% year-on-year.
The export of tungsten products from Jiangxi Province during the first four months in 2010 had four characteristics: first, export quantity of tungsten products as raw materials increased greatly, taking a bigger proportion; second, average export price of tungsten products rebounded gradually, up 3.03% year-on-year and up 26.83% in chain index during the first four months in 2010; third, Asia remained the biggest export market; fourth, the exporters were mainly state-owned and private enterprises.
According to some expert, from the point of the international market of tungsten products, uncertainties about the global economic recovery still exist, although the export of tungsten products in Jiangxi Province from January till April 2010 increased greatly. Despite the huge increase in the total export, the export proportion of deep-processed tungsten products is falling, and optimization on product structure is still a long way to go.
